Tipperary Ladies Gaelic Football Notes Under 14 club finals. Our under 14 A final was played in Goatenbridge on Monday evening last June 4th with Derek O Mahony as referee. Moyle Rovers and Cahir entertained a very large crowd with a wonderful display of open football. Cahir were ahead at half time on a score line of 0-4 to 0-2. A Moyle Rovers goal early in the second half put them ahead and both teams fought tooth and nail to the end. A draw looked on the cards with time running out but one last attack by Moyle Rovers produced a point to give them the win. Final score Moyle Rovers 1-5 Cahir 0-7. B Final Cappawhite were crowned champions when they defeated Lattin-Cullen 4-6 to 1-7. Out thanks to Michael Duffy for referring and to Dennis Connelly Vice Chairman for presenting the silverware. C Final In Cloneen on Saturday Mullinahone added the under 14 title to under16 and Junior C League titles won so far this year. Played in very poor weather conditions Mullinahone were fortunate to get some very soft goals and ran out easy winners on a score line of 7-12 to Clonmel Commercials 1-1. D Final Moycarkey play Galtee Rovers on Tuesday 5th June in New Inn. D shield Final. Upperchurch and Ballyporeen played out a very exciting draw last Wed evening in Upperchurch. After twenty minutes of extra time things were still level on a score line of 5-6 to Ballyporeen to Upperchurch's 4-9 Replay Wed June 6th at a venue to be arranged. Our Juvenile Fixture Secretary Ann Slattery (Moycarkey) deserves great praise for having all these finals played on time. Thanks to all our clubs for their cooperation in playing their games on time. Munster Intermediate Semi-Final Tipperary will play Kerry in the Munster semi-final in Ardfinnan on Saturday next June 9th at 2o clock.
